Wasla Festival in Dubai

Wasla Festival returns to Dubai with an inspiring night of music and unity at Jubilee Park, Expo City Dubai. This event is dedicated to breaking boundaries and connecting people from all walks of life through the universal language of music. The festival is held in support of UNHCR’s work, raising awareness and resources for displaced families in need of shelter, healthcare, and education.

The evening’s lineup showcases four remarkable artists and groups known for reshaping and celebrating Arabic and global sounds. Marcel Khalife, the renowned Lebanese composer and oud virtuoso, brings his modern take on Arabic folk, blending poetry and melody in unforgettable ways. LE Trio Joubran, a celebrated Palestinian ensemble of brothers, weave intricate and moving instrumental pieces on three ouds, creating an atmosphere both deeply traditional and innovative.

TootArd, a genre-bending duo from the Golan Heights, infuse their music with desert blues, reggae, and retro Middle Eastern pop influences, offering a fresh and lively sound. Rounding out the bill is Fatima, whose expressive vocals and fusion of R&B, jazz, and Middle Eastern rhythms captivate audiences with a soulful edge.

Wasla Festival is more than a concert; it’s a gathering of voices for a meaningful cause, set against the vibrant backdrop of Expo City Dubai. It’s an evening for music lovers, supporters of humanitarian work, and anyone seeking to experience the power of live performance to inspire change.
