This evening desert safari in Dubai is designed for those seeking adventure, cultural experiences, and stunning scenery all in one outing. The journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or residence anywhere in Dubai or Sharjah, making this a convenient option for visitors throughout the city. Ideal for thrill-seekers and travelers eager to explore the UAE’s iconic red dunes, it offers a blend of adrenaline-pumping activities and traditional hospitality.

Your experience starts as you leave the city behind and head toward the Lahbab desert in a comfortable 4WD Land Cruiser. En route, your safari guide shares stories and insights about the region’s history and the unique desert environment. When you arrive in Lahbab, there’s time for a brief rest and preparations, including tire deflation for optimal dune driving. If you’re ready for adventure, you can opt for a quad bike ride across the shifting sands before the main part of the safari begins.

The heart of the experience unfolds with 45 minutes of exhilarating dune bashing in the red dunes, expertly navigated by your licensed safari driver. The vehicle climbs and descends the slopes, offering panoramic views and heart-pounding excitement. After dune bashing, you’ll pause atop a high dune just in time for sunset, perfect for capturing dramatic desert photographs. During this break, enjoy Arabic coffee and dates, soaking in the golden hour atmosphere.

As night falls, you’re brought to a traditional desert camp, where the ambiance shifts to relaxation and cultural immersion. The majlis seating area provides a comfortable spot to unwind with unlimited soft drinks, tea, coffee, and snacks like falafel and shawarma. Here, you can try camel riding, refresh with henna painting, dress in traditional attire for photos, and pose with a falcon. For those interested, shisha smoking is available in the designated area. The evening is highlighted by seven live entertainment shows, including oud music, Sufi and Khaliji performances, Dabka, Western acts, belly dancing, and a fire show, all accompanied by a generous BBQ buffet dinner with vegetarian options.

Your booking includes 4WD transportation from Dubai or Sharjah, a professional safari guide, dune bashing, sandboarding, a quad bike session, and camel rides that can be repeated. At the camp, unlimited soft drinks, water, tea, coffee, Arabic snacks, buffet dinner, henna painting, shisha, and all live performances are part of the experience. Alcoholic beverages and gratuities are not included and should be planned separately.

Set in the striking Lahbab desert, recognized for its red dunes and expansive landscapes, this safari showcases the beauty and contrasts of Dubai’s natural surroundings. The sunset over the rolling dunes creates a memorable backdrop, while the camp’s traditional setting gives a window into local customs and entertainment. The region’s terrain is famed for its photo opportunities and vibrant colors, especially as evening approaches.
