Your morning begins when a licensed safari guide collects you in a comfortable, air-conditioned 4WD vehicle—typically a Toyota Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol—for the journey beyond the city’s edge. As you leave behind Dubai’s skyline, you’ll watch the sun rise over the vast expanse of red dunes, with the sand glowing gold in the fresh morning light. Upon arrival in the heart of the desert, your guide will brief you on the adventure ahead and ensure everyone is prepared for the activities to come. Bottled water is provided to keep you refreshed throughout the morning.

The first main activity is a 45-minute dune bashing session, where your expert driver skillfully navigates the high, rolling dunes. Feel the adrenaline as the 4WD crests and swoops along the soft red sands, pausing at the tallest peaks for panoramic views and photo opportunities. The morning sunlight creates perfect conditions for capturing the desert’s untouched beauty. After the rush of action, the experience shifts gears with a traditional camel ride. Your booking includes the complete desert experience: hotel or port pickup and drop-off in a modern, air-conditioned 4WD, the full dune bashing adventure, sandboarding, a camel ride, bottled water, and all guidance from a licensed safari expert. Everything you need for the morning is provided, but optional extras—such as falcon photos, scarves, or souvenirs—are not part of the tour and would incur additional cost if you choose them on site.

The safari takes place among Dubai’s renowned red sand dunes, a landscape known for its striking color and rolling, untouched shapes. Pickup is available from any Dubai hotel or Port Rashid, but not from Naif and Al Sabkha areas. For pickups from Jebel Ali Hotels & Resorts, Dubai Parks and Resorts, or Bab Al Shams Desert Resort, a small surcharge applies, payable at the time of pickup. Specialized infant seats are provided if needed. The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers, those with spinal injuries, or anyone with serious heart conditions. Dress in light, comfortable clothing suitable for sporty activity, protect yourself with suncream and a hat, and avoid heavy meals before the tour—opt for a light breakfast instead.
