This Dubai sunset desert safari is designed for thrill-seekers and culture lovers alike, offering a blend of adventure and authentic Arabian hospitality. Departing from Dubai in the early afternoon, guests are picked up from their hotels or selected ports and set out for the city’s surrounding red dunes. The experience is tailored for visitors who want a taste of desert adrenaline balanced with traditional evening entertainment and a memorable meal, all against the backdrop of the setting sun.

The adventure begins as you arrive at the edge of the desert, where your guide provides a safety briefing and fits you out with everything needed for the ride ahead. The first stage is an exhilarating 4x4 dune bashing session, where skilled drivers navigate steep slopes and sandy crests, thrilling passengers with sharp turns and sudden drops. You’ll pause atop one of the highest dunes, a perfect vantage point to admire the shifting colors of the desert as evening approaches, and an opportunity to capture photos of the landscape bathed in golden light.

After the adrenaline rush of dune bashing, the experience continues with a 30-minute quad bike ride. Here, you’ll take control of your own ATV and carve tracks through the open desert, feeling the power of the machine as you speed over red sand. The next activity is sandboarding—sliding down the dunes on a specially designed board, an exciting and sandy challenge for all ages. Before heading to camp, you’ll also have the chance to ride a camel, experiencing a slower, traditional mode of desert travel that has connected people with these landscapes for centuries.

As the sun sets, the group gathers at a traditional desert camp. The final stages of the evening include a delicious BBQ dinner with a wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, served in a relaxed atmosphere under the stars. While dining, you can enjoy a series of live performances including folkloric dance and belly dancing, adding a cultural highlight to the evening. There’s also the opportunity to try henna painting by a professional artist—a lasting souvenir of your time in the desert. After the show concludes, the tour wraps up and guests are returned to their original departure points in Dubai.

The booking includes hotel or port pickup and return by air-conditioned 4WD, all activities as outlined—dune bashing, quad biking, sandboarding, camel ride, and entry to the desert camp. Guests receive unlimited water and soft drinks at the camp, and a BBQ buffet dinner with multiple options. Henna tattoo painting and the evening entertainment shows are also provided. Alcoholic beverages and souvenirs, such as falcon photos or scarves, are not included and may be purchased separately if desired.

The tour unfolds in the striking red dunes outside Dubai, an area known for its dramatic landscapes and sweeping views. The desert’s unique terrain offers an ideal playground for off-road adventure, while the evening brings cooler air and a sense of tranquility. The camp setting is designed to evoke traditional Bedouin hospitality, with comfortable seating and atmospheric lighting that complements the natural surroundings.

Travelers are picked up and dropped off in shared groups, with a maximum of 70 participants per outing. Guides are available in English, Hindi, and Urdu, ensuring clear communication throughout the tour. Participants should wear light, comfortable clothing and bring sun protection as well as a light layer for cooler desert evenings. The experience is not recommended for pregnant guests, those with spinal injuries, or those with heart conditions. Pickup from certain areas (Jebel Ali Hotels & Resorts, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort) incurs an additional charge payable at pickup, and is unavailable from Naif and Al Sabkha districts.
