Sandventures is a dynamic desert safari experience crafted for adventure enthusiasts and culture seekers visiting Dubai. Starting with pickup from your hotel in the city, this outing brings together the excitement of dune bashing with authentic glimpses into local life, all set against the dramatic backdrop of Dubai’s outskirts. Designed for small groups, it’s ideal for those who want both adrenaline and a taste of traditional Emirati hospitality away from the city’s skyscrapers.

After leaving Dubai, your journey into the desert begins with an opportunity to upgrade your experience by riding a powerful quad bike or dune buggy across the shifting sands. This optional stopover is perfect for those who crave speed and want to feel the thrill of navigating the dunes firsthand. Next, you’ll pass some of Dubai’s iconic landmarks, including the world’s tallest building—a feat of modern engineering and Arabic artistry—and the palatial Zabeel residence, surrounded by lush gardens where peacocks roam.

As you continue, keep an eye out for the vast Dubai Miracle Garden, renowned as the world’s largest natural flower garden, bursting with millions of blooms. The route also takes you by Global Village, a multicultural festival park representing dozens of countries, and IMG Worlds of Adventure, Dubai’s massive indoor theme park. These sights highlight the city’s spirit of innovation and cosmopolitan flair before you fully immerse yourself in the desert.

The heart of the safari is reached at a camel training facility, a unique stop where you can watch camels and their cubs being trained for races. This experience offers a rare window into an important aspect of Emirati culture and is especially engaging for animal lovers. From here, you’ll enjoy a gentle camel ride over the dunes and try the popular sport of sandboarding, gliding down the slopes for a burst of exhilaration.

The adventure draws to a close with a visit to a desert camp, where you’ll relax with a refreshing drink and a buffet dinner that caters to various dietary preferences, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. The evening’s entertainment features mesmerizing performances such as Tanura dancing, belly dance, and a dramatic fire show, capturing the festive spirit of the desert night before you return to Dubai.

Included in your booking are sandboarding, a camel ride, dinner, bottled water, soft drinks, and private, air-conditioned transportation throughout the experience. Alcoholic beverages are available in the camp at extra cost. The tour does not include alcoholic drinks unless purchased separately.

The safari unfolds in the striking landscape just outside Dubai, where the ochre dunes stretch to the horizon and the evening sky glows with desert colors. The journey highlights not only the natural beauty of the sands but also the diversity of Dubai’s urban and cultural landmarks, from modern marvels to age-old traditions, all visible along the way.

Pickup is provided from your hotel, and the group size is limited to six travelers for a comfortable shared experience. The tour is wheelchair accessible, with transportation and camp facilities designed to accommodate all guests. Guides speak English, and travelers are advised to wear comfortable clothing and bring a camera. The experience is not recommended for pregnant guests or those with serious back problems, but special arrangements can be made at the camp if needed.
