The journey starts before sunrise, when participants are welcomed at the launch site, Margham, just outside Dubai. Here, guests are briefed by the pilot and can enjoy unlimited tea, coffee, and water as anticipation for the flight grows. As dawn approaches, the hot air balloon is prepared and the crew ensures all guests are informed about safety and what to expect as the adventure unfolds. The atmosphere is filled with excitement and the soft glow of the morning light on the dunes.

Once airborne, the balloon gently ascends above the desert, offering panoramic views of Dubai’s vast sandscapes as the sun rises. The ever-changing colors of the dunes, shaped by the early light, create a stunning spectacle. The adventure continues after breakfast with a range of desert activities. Guests have the opportunity to try quad biking for around ten minutes, riding over the soft sands for an added dose of excitement. Dune bashing in a 4x4 follows, providing a thrilling ride across the undulating landscape. The experience is rounded out with short camel and horse rides, each lasting about five to ten minutes, immersing guests in traditional desert ways. There’s also a chance to take a memorable photo with a falcon, a symbol of regional heritage.

Included in the booking are hotel pickup and drop-off within Dubai city in a shared vehicle, the sunrise hot air balloon flight, a flight certificate signed by the pilot, a light breakfast at the camp, and all listed desert activities: quad biking, camel and horse rides, and a falcon photo opportunity. Unlimited refreshments are provided before takeoff. Souvenir photos and a full flight video are available for an extra charge and are not part of the standard package.

The experience is not recommended for pregnant travelers, those with spinal injuries, or serious heart conditions. Infants must be seated on an adult’s lap during the journey.
